A superb pair of Chelsea porcelain pot pourri vases and covers,the bulbous body standing on four feet with pierced neck, the domed cover also pierced with a flower finial. Painted with birds in flight and in branches within four shaped gilded panels reserved on a rich blue ground with gilded highlights. The shape and decoration after Vincennes. c.1760
